This post presents a Traumatic Cataract Surgery with Sutured Capsular Tension Segments.
A 58-year-old male patient had a traumatic cataract and approximately 170 degrees of zonular dialysis in the left eye. His visual acuity in the left eye was 20/50. The surgeon performed a traumatic cataract surgery with sutured capsular tension segments, and a foldable one-piece IOL was implanted into the capsular bag.
One day after surgery, the uncorrected visual acuity was 20/20.
