This post will present Single Pass 4 Throw Pupilloplasty.
This is a 59-year-old male patient who had a complicated cataract surgery 3 weeks ago. The first surgeon observed that there was vitreous migration from the zonules after the trifocal IOL was placed in the bag during cataract surgery and she performed anterior vitrectomy. However, an iris defect occurred at the pupillary margin during anterior vitrectomy. She referred the patient to the surgeon who prepared this video post for pupilloplasty.
He preferred to single pass 4 throw pupilloplasty technique to repair the iris defect.
The YouTube video provides a detailed explanation of the surgery (click here to watch the video).
