Asteroid Hyalosis

Asteroid hyalosis is characterized by the presence of small, white, star-like particles within the vitreous humor, which is the gel-like substance that fills the eye. These particles are made up of calcium and lipid deposits. It typically affects older adults and is often asymptomatic.
