Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment Due to a Horseshoe Retinal Tear

Macula-off rhegmatogenous retinal detachment secondary to a horseshoe retinal tear. The retinal tear is visible at the superior-temporal quadrant. The superior temporal quadrant is the most common location for retinal tears, accounting for 55-60%. The superior nasal quadrant is the second most common location.
Note: Macula-off means the macula is detached.
